Hemp needs to be decriminalized, not only as a ”recreational drug” such as alcohol and tobacco (which kills more people and ruins lives)but also as a commodity that can be used for clothing, food, fuel, paper, and yes, medicinal use.
Marijuana does not kill anyone, does not destroy brain cells, and is NOT a ”stepping stone” for other drug use. It has been used without harming anyone for thousands of years.
Hemp is a weed, it grows just about anywhere it is allowed to, and can be used as a viable alternative for bio-fuels instead of using food crops for fuel.
Americans must educate themselves as to the real reasons that hemp was banned, and they will discover it never was about it harming anything except the profits of cotton farmers and land owners that were cutting down trees.
